Heister House donates floor to Governor's residence

As part of the PA Showcase Kitchen project, Heister House Millworks is donating an oak wood floor for renovations to the Pennsylvania Governor's kitchen. The project was created to save taxpayers' money by offsetting the cost of renovating, which comes as the kitchen nears its 40th birthday.

Locally owned businesses will be donating the materials needed for restoration, and the name of each contributor will be displayed on a bronze plaque in the kitchen after the project is complete. Rick Nissly, of Nissly Professional Hardwood Flooring, and an additional contributor, will install the hardwood floor.

Heister House is proud of being involved in this project, and would like to thank all their employees for their commitment to craftsmanship and excellence.
